Final reflection

Well we have finished this hard year, and I'm much better now that at the beggining. I loved our English class, participating in some talkings, activities, and listentings wich we've done in this year. My best improvement was on the oral presentations. I think that each presentation was better than the last one and I'm glad to know that I'm getting better English level. I know that I have to learn from my mistakes and do my best to evoid them, but everytime there will be a new mistake, and a new prupose to get the best level of English.
Well before I forget I'll say that the post which shows my best English level is about the Frankenstain. In that post I was very concentrated and tried to not makeany mistake and use a lot of linkers and words which enrich my post.
Also I found very useful the listening task because if you're good on writing tasks and vocabulary you must learn how to spell the words and start to talk with others in English. This shows your real level of English, and I think that talking I'm fluent and I my spelling is quite good.
Going to the next question I want to say that everything was useful because I learnt from every task I've done and all activities vere worth to do .
For my ending I want to ask my English teacher something that I need next year in English class obligatory and it's oral presentations. Why? Well because I've learnt a lot from them and also I practiced my speaking. Well also I would meet next year the listenings which grows my mark of the exams. I enjoyed really this year and hope so the next year.

Oral presentation - Racism

Observation of oral presentation:

For my oral presentation I used internet to look up the info. I think the information was good summarised and attractive, and the audience laught in some cases. I tried to keep the eye contact, and don't read everything from my notes, but some definitions were difficult so I looked a bit. To keep my audience paying attention, I tried to change my voice into higher or funnier, also including funny photos and examples.
Between that, I organised well my information in order of importance, and I had to include more discourse markers.
My information was new and relevant, so they paid attention while I was explaining it to them. This helped me to concentrate and keep with the exposition. My grammar was fine, but it was bit poor and I had to use more linkers and fillers.
My pronounciation was good enough and I tried to change my voice, including some breaks to get started next point. Well In my opinion I think I'm worth of 7. =)

Oral presentation : Jamaica

Observation of Presentation:

We included in our presentation a PowerPoint, also sound and images which made more interesting the presentation. They helped in our presentation to show where the things were and the music introduced all to the Jamaican ambient. Our presentation last 9 minutes and half, well that's because we tried to speak slowly and with good pronunciation, so the others could understand us good enough. I tried to make a visual contact with audience and I tried to don't keep reading all the time my notes, well some difficult words , nothing more. I should improve my gesture and body movement. The structure of the presentation was very good , and our introduction to the presentation was a bit bad I think so. As I said before , we tried to include a good explication of each thing , and we included some examples as we were talking. Our language wasn't difficult and I think that we could look to dictionary to make the vocabulary rich and varied. I think I hadn't problems with pronunciation , well with the word " island" , I'll try to change my voice and don't speak too much time monotone. I made breaks while I was talking, to remind what I'm going to talk next. Well I think our presentation wasn't so bad, my mark is 6,5.

Frankenstain

Did somebody asked itself what will happen in the future if the humans body knowledge still goes improving big steps and every second creates some new things, which were impossible before even to think?
Some people are very pleased with this science because it saved their life , and it will save even more lifes thanks to the new technology. Think about to bring back alive your familiar or loved person , don't you think it would be as a perfect life to everybody?
In some cases there were a catastrophes which we don't want to get in our minds and all the fault was of some bad experiment like the Victor did with its creation in the story, all the bad things that happened to our generation were because , the scientists didn't thought about what will happen after they finish the experiment.

Step by step I'm going to conclude my writing saying that the bodies shouldn't be abused too much in experiments, but with a certain moderation we can save more lifes and create a better life to everybody.

Why i posted only the fairy tale?

Well i think that the Fairy Tale is the best creation that I've done until the end of first term, and I included in the story all my imagination. So in other term I'll be able to see my progress , and improve in my next writing. Also it's the last entry of the first term, so i can see what I've learnt in each term.

Fairy Tale : Poor boy...

Once upon a time, there was a bad influenced kingdom with a cruel king. All the castle people were poor habitants because the king didn't respected their lifes, put high tax, and he didn't helped them when they asked it to him.
One night, ayoung boy went to the lake near the castle and felt to a deep dream. While dreaming, he saw strange things, and one of them was a talking rat which came near him.The rat said that one day the boy will try to kill a rat, so if he won't kill the rat, hiswisheswill come true. Then the boy woke up and ran to his house.
Next week while he was eating a piece of bread with cheese, a rat grabbed a bit of it, but the boy caught the rat quickly. He wanted to kill it , but then he remembered the dream. So he left the rat go away.
Next day he went again to the same lake and felt in a deep dream, the rat came to him and asked for his wish, the boy said that he wanted to be the new king of the kingdom, so he could help his habitants. The wish came true, the boy became the new king , and nobody knew what happened with the bad king. The new king made new laws, and everybody was happy with him.

Observation of my Oral Presentation:

My Oral presentation is called Dance. Well i had a power point as a resource, and i included some images. I think that all the class liked my oral presentation, and the timing was more that 6 minutes, so it was good enough. Also i tried to make eye contact , i didn't read from my notes, and i tried to move a bit from one side of the class to the other side.
My presentation had a structure and i included some markers. I think it's new information, i tried to speak slowly and at easy level, so the others could understand me. I searched some information in Wikipedia about origins of the dance and some styles. My language wasn't so difficult, maybe i did some mistakes, and I'll try to don't make them in next presentation. My pronunciation was quite good, i think that's because I'm from other country, and my fluency was not bad in deed. I made pauses to take a breath , and I hadn't changed my voice.
I think that my presentation is worth a 7.
